Conclusion of Mulians Trip

Yo yo yo!!!
Here's the conclusion after a few votes from Mulians (even though some of them never respond, DUH!!??)

We have deiced to go LANGKAWI, yes LANGKAWI at the end of June. We're going to book the ticket during end of April and the fare will be around RM150++. For those who confirm last minute, you can still join us, but the thing is the fare will be more expensive. So, decide earlier so that you can get cheaper fare. Sorry for any inconvenience cause.

So far, i think
Zheng Hao, Daryl, Wan Yee, Qi Hao and myself are confirmed. Most of them quarter confirm or semi confirm. Haha...i got no idea=S

Any respond or suggestion, do write in any comment. Anything, anything you can comment here.

*Open to Non-Mulians who are pretty close to US too=)

Cheras outing (Hong Lok) =p

Last Wednesday (3/3/10), the few of us which comprises Pris, Beh, Suet Li and me agreed to go Cheras to fulfill ZH's sudden craving of dropping by there for dinner. As you can see from our pictures, Daniel was also with us. He was kind enough to meet us somewhere in Cheras and guide us to our destination, Kafe Kaki Corner to eat CHICKEN CHOP!!! Lol. XD

These are the delicious foods for the night..

Other than that, we went to Tmn Connaught's pasar malam, and had a little walk there. Initially, we wanted to find "tauhu busuk", but, we couldn't. Anyway, we still ended up in a ice kacang shop. Below are the actions and memorable moments of the night. :)

Joshua 1:9

A little small verse that Shuxin shared with me last night:

Joshua 1:9
Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

2010 TRIP

Guys, this is another MAJOR trip of Mulians. Please leave me comments. Details as below...

Guests: All the Mulians or non-mulians

Venue: Please vote ( Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Perhentian, Phuket)
I personally prefer Langkawi because of the cost conscious, if we can book the ticket early, the air ticket fare will be around RM200++. While another two will be more expensive but of course, compare to Langkawi, i think those two are a better place. From my experience, when i look down from the aircraft, i can see langkawi is a very very beautiful island, very very beautiful!!!

Time: End of June ( Probably 28th, 29th, 30th)
Reason: Qi Hao will be back from June to Aug; Wan Yee will be back from May to Aug. After discussion with some of the Mulians, we think this is the best period.

Let me know asap, leave any of the comment here. I know some of you might be doing something else during this period, i just can say first come first serve as we really need to book the ticket earlier. You can join last minute but the air ticket will be a little bit expensive.

Thank you for the great present!

I'm writing this blog post to purposely thank the twelve kind souls who contributed to my birthday gift:

Ng Zheng Hao
Leow Wan Yee
Tan Suet Li
Wong Jiunn Herng
Priscillia Ku
Lee Khan Jack
Beh Shin Ni
Lim Keng Wei
Ng Hooi San
Chong Kin Hoe
Lee Sin Ying
Lim Chun Ming

I've been wanting to get a laptop backpack ever since I got my laptop a year ago. But I couldn't manage to find the one I like. However, with the uprising passion for photography, it is always ideal to carry everything in a single bag instead of two. Plus, I will be going to Singapore for 3 months this Saturday, it will definitely reduce the weight!

Therefore, I scouted around the internet for a bag. And came across the KATA DR-466i. Well, I would say its pretty much the ideal bag that I was looking for. And after much deliberation, I decided to buy it. I even got my sister and mum to chip money for the bag.

On the 24th of February, I called ZH to accompany me to Pudu Plaza to purchase that bag, and only gave him a 20 minutes notice.

Arrived there, check the bag thoroughly, and wanted to make the payment, and much to my surprise, ZH suddenly paid it up. I was stunned, like seriously.

I didn't said anything in the store, but after we came out. I was like, "what the heck were you doing?" Then he explained that it was for my birthday present, and that it's from our group. Deep down, I know I won't manage to fight him to take the money. On the other hand, I know you guys wouldn't mind sharing for it. Cause if I were in your shoes, I wouldn't mind either. (Kinda muka tembok saying this! Hahaha~)

Anyway, I'm really really happy with the bag! Because, its so cool, it could have been better, like able to hold tumbler or abit more compartments. But, those are just small matters cause I'll be using it for it's main purpose anyway, which is to store my camera and laptop. Below are the pictures of the bag:

This is the place where I store my camera in the bag. The side compartment enables me to store additional lens, hopefully I'll have some in the future. :)

The compartment to store the camera can be removed and create a bigger space inside, to store books or other bigger stuffs.

This is how it looks like from the bottom when the camera compartment is removed.

Lastly, this is the compartment to store my laptop in between the back of the bag and the front compartment.

Another big THANK YOU to all of you! So many thank you's to say, but it just doesn't feel sufficient! @@

Daryl's 21st

I'm writing in to blog about the night Mulians brought me out for my birthday celebration. We went to Jaya One's Brussels Beer Cafe.

Well, the place is pretty cool, but the lighting in the place we were sitting were kinda poor. Abit "potong steam" when taking pictures.

Of course, I picked the worst picture to illustrate the place. With a bit of adjustment on the flash, exposure and everything, we could have gotten better pictures, but i didn't. Was kinda distracted being the main man of the night. hahah!

Speaking of main man, I think on that night, we had another "main man" that took the limelight during our occasion:

Behold the 5 litre Hoegaarden!

Thankfully, we had 7 drinkers on that night, if not, I think I would have ballooned in the inside drinking this alone. Another thing to take note is that, our Tiffany is a drinker herself. Always drinking beer that night, anyone need a kaki, can find her! Woots~

Snaps with the girls of the night. Only God knows what the other guys were thinking when I took this shot.

At last, all I want to say is ---

Although it was a simple night, but everything was great!
